Ying & Yu

"How can you be eating ice cream at a time like this?" Ying asked Yu, who just wouldn't leave her alone these days.

Didn't he see she was in a bad mood? She needed to be alone. She needed to think about life. Find her priorities. She sighed deeply, sitting there on the park bench wishing she could be refreshed by the fountain on this warm day. Except, in her heart..she might as well be in Siberia.

"Huh?" He was eating her popsicle too. She didn't have the appetite for sweet things.

Ying looked at Yu out of the corner of her eye. He was quite fetching even in a denim shirt. She sighed even more and kicked the air in her clogged boots. She fretted ever so emotionally.

Yu only rolled his eyes at that. He kept up with the dripping popsicles.

"As if anyone really cares..what we're doing," Yu told her she was making too much of it. Being together.

She squinted and festered a frown.

"What? Are you saying YOU do this ALL THE TIME?" She asked if she should be worried. Was he full of diseases?

This cracked him up.

"For fuck's sake, you really need to get a handle on this, babe." He held a laugh inside as he smiled at her. He only made her want to scream. Instead, she punched him on the arm.

"Ow," He said ever so playful. "So you like it rough, is that it?"

Her mouth dropped and he stuck the lemonade popsicle in her mouth. Who was she kidding? She loved sweets. She loved being with Yu.

He put his arm around her. She felt a comfort she wished she'd felt for someone else, but it was no use thinking about him now.
