Sid & Jun

1. where did we meet?
SID: I think it was in the commons on campus. He was new and looking for a roommate. He hated his roommate. Said he was too Korean.
JUN: Yeah. Too much of a brain, you know. It helped that Sid knew Korean, though.

2. what was our first date?
SID: Jun wanted to go bowling. He hadn't bowled since he was six or so. Said he forgot how. It was fun. He's such a hugger. (Sid smiles)
JUN: He makes me laugh. So serious you know. (Jun grins with his arm around Sid)

3. where was our first kiss and how was it?
SID: We made out before we went bowling (Sid chuckles.) We kissed between the dorms. Everybody could see.
JUN: We didn't care. The bowling was just a break of some kind. And then we made out until the campus cops found us in his car. (Jun cracks up).

4. did u know that i was the one
SID: Yeah, when I looked into your eyes and watched how you smiled, it was like finding perfection. (Sid bites bottom lip).
JUN: He's a American. (Jun smiles as if he's proud of that fact.)

5. first impression?
SID: He's so spontaneous. I thought he might be drunk.
JUN: People always say that about me, but I never drink. No drugs, either. (He's even lipped about it.)

6. when did u meet the family
SID: No. His family is in Korea. And mine are a few states away. (Sid shrugs)
JUN: I dunno if they have to know me, you know. What's to know? (He leans in to Sid with an open grin. Sid lets a sly smile slip).

7. do we have a tradition
SID: We try every Korean place around here, but we haven't found one he likes yet, on Friday nights. Does that count?
JUN: We need tradition. (Jun nods as if their Friday night dinners aren't tradition as of yet.)

8. what was our first roadtrip
SID: It was a concert. We went all the way to Kansas City to see this heavy metal rock band.
JUN: We were up all night. Had to share a motel room with his roommate and his girl. Not that fun. (Jun shakes his head.)

9. who said i love u first and where were we
SID: He said it first. He's such a romantic. We were at breakfast and he said it the first time we met for breakfast in the cafeteria.
JUN: Why wait? You know?

10. what do we argue about the most
SID: Um, clothes. He doesn't like what I wear.
JUN: Needs clothes to be a sharp dresser, like me. (Jun's impish grin is endearing).
