Hemlock Grove Fan Fic : Peter and Christina

"Is this what you want? Are you sure this is what you want?"

Peter couldn't imagine who even said it as the words fades somewhere in his vast mind. He was in a deep sleep. There were visions of the stars, or were those jellyfish in the ocean of his imagination?

"Hey." One simple word awoke him. And she was there, plain and simple, staring down at him in the hammock.

Peter looked surprised. He was. But he'd have to choose his words more carefully..because he knew. He knew what she was now. That part could not come undone. All he could do was to make this not quite as bad as it could be.

He remembered Letha was not his. Never would be. She was someone else's play thing. Only it was a blur now. Insignificant. He'd been placed here for a reason. There were rules, but Peter liked making his own rules when he could.

"What are you doing?" His smile half crooked. "Did you, kiss me?" He held out his hand for her to take. Of course, she hesitated. So he grabbed it and pulled her in. He knew what she wanted. To be with him.

Christina was gentle as a lamb. Even if she did try her best to be a Puritan about it.

Peter couldn't help but grin as he coaxed an arm around her as if they wouldn't be at their best unless they were in a snug cuddle.

"Hemingway, what's gotten into that crazy head of yours?" Peter kept grinning wishing to be a little more cynical. It was easy to see she didn't get his humor.

"Writer's block." She finally managed.

"Wrtier's block?" Peter smiled. "Don't you know writers only write for a few minutes at a time. You can't write 8 hours a day."

"I can't write a thing. Just empty pages." Christina said quite sadly. "I have to live it first."

"And have you?" Peter asked ever so calm as he kissed her forehead.

"Its like a nightmare. A bloody nightmare." She murmured into his bare chest. He could feel her restless heartbeat from here.

"You're sad. You, have nothing to be sad about." Peter sighed. But even now, he wasn't so sure he could stop the killings.

She rose slightly and looked into his eyes. He let her soft lip reach for his. And when her mouth found his tongue, Peter was so sure she might eat it. Swallow it whole. But he was calm, he let her have her way. Naturally, she wasn't very good with the infant kiss.

He'd have to teach her, and he did.

Hemlock Grove Fan Fic: Peter and Christina

Peter couldn't say he remembered a thing. Exactly. But they'd somehow found their way to his cousin's place, afterwards.

"I need your help, Des?" He looked her in the eye, hoping she'd sense it too. What should be done?

Of course, Christina was still shivering. Still not herself. Her hair just a little darker in places now. Yes, she was the bad wolf.

"What do you have in mind?" Destiny wasn't really being positive about the situation. He knew she wanted him to kill it. Do it quick. But of course not, here.

"How should I know? You? You.. know, do your magic." He felt bad he'd said it, but he thought she was far better at this gypsy stuff than he was.

"Magic?" She rolled her eyes.

"I killed my cat, already." Peter didn't want to do any more killing. Especially, gory stuff. Did he really have to go through with the bacon fat?

Finally, Destiny went to take a look at Christina. Destiny glanced at Peter.

"You, honestly want to change your feelings...for someone?"

"I think I do." He felt like crying instantly for Leitha, already. There was no way he could change her future. Even if he wanted too. But this, he could change. Maybe go back in time. Perhaps there were memories there of Christina, and he didn't even know it.

"There is no going back." She reminded him even lipped.

"I know."

Somehow, they'd managed through the night together as canine. He wasn't so sure. He was certain her other self must hate him too. Evidently, not.

"She loves me." Peter got that. She'd gone to great lengths, even if she was one crazy bitch. He had to at least explore it. "She needs me." That's just what kind of guy he was. And something dark was coming Roman's way. He'd have to get used to it. "Christina's a part of me."

Destiny grabbed the sides of Christina's face and looked her in the eye. She started chanting something vaguely familiar to Peter in a language he knew not completely of. And then Destiny gave Christina a deep kiss.

The girl closed her eyes, and dropped her head when Destiny was done.

"What did you do?" Peter wasn't expecting this. Christina laid lifeless on the couch.

"You, worry to much." Destiny said ever so coldly. "It's either this, or do you want a wolf to train all on your own?"

Peter hugged himself and watched Christina carefully.

Would he ever be able to trust her? Completely?

His cousin turned to him too and planted him on the couch next to Christina.

"Its your turn now." She grabbed the sides of his face. Before he knew it, he was in a trance and his cousin's mouth was on his, and it was beautiful.

Hemlock Grove Fan Fiction : Peter and Christina

Peter knew this wasn't going to be easy. Why was he the last to know, sometimes. Maybe he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, after all.

"What have you done?" His eyes couldn't look away at Christina now. He was suppose to kill her, but somehow they were connected now. He could sense it since the full moon.

"Please! Don't be mad! Don't be!" She was a sick puppy. He knew something wasn't right since her hair turned white. There she was on her knees and he knew what he had to do. Or did he?

He looked to Roman. And there was Letha by his side. This pained him so much to do this, but now he knew he didn't belong here. Not when the truth was before him.

Peter couldn't settle this now. They needed to go. He knew once Christiana's wolf came out to play, it would not be pretty. He looked to the stain glass windows in the old church. It was getting late. There was no time.

He hated to leave Letha, but this needed to be sorted.

"You, think I'm bad, don't you?" Christina winced with tears as if she herself was finally waking up to the fact that she'd done a very bad thing. "But..but I just wanted to be..a part of you."

Peter sighed as if that were the craziest thing he'd ever heard. But then he'd wanted to be a part of Letha, except he knew he really wasn't.

"It'll be OK." He didn't want any harm to come to anyone. He grabbed her by the arm. They'd have to hurry.

She shook her head. He knew he didn't believe her. Naturally, Roman wanted to know what was going on.

"It'll be OK." He remembered his mother's words. He didn't want to make this any worst than what it already was. "You're angry." He looked her in the eye.

"I know." She yelped. "I don't mean to. I don't know why." She wailed. He put his arm around her.

"Where will you go!" Roman stepped forward. No way was he letting him have his prized possession, his father's car.

"I dunno." Peter yelled at Roman this time. He needed to get Letha out of here.

Peter took Christina's hand and they ran into the darkness until they found the basement stairs. He locked the heavy door behind them. They'd be safe in the basement. Unless they killed each other. This was no time for bacon fat.

Maybe if they were together, they could get through this. He could feel Christina shake beneath him. Soon she was out of his grasp.

Christina awoke in her bed. The windows were open in her room. There was a chill of autumn in the air as the curtains danced. She was in a sweat. Was it over yet? Or did it just start?
